We are preserving this land so that it will never be developed, protecting the fragile wetland area and ecosystem. We hope to turn a portion of this special land into a conservation cemetery, where natural, green burials will be part of the restoration and preservation of the land. 

This will be an open, park-like setting that people can walk through and be in nature when visiting their graves and honoring their ancestors.
